Fried Beans

Looking for a healthy snack? Try these fried beans.

Ingredients

  • SUFI Olive Oil
  • sliced onion1 small
  • peeled and crushed garlic1 clove
  • dried red chillies4 to 5
  • washed and ends cut off green beans250 gm
  • soya sauce2 tbsp
  • honey1-2 tbsp
  • roasted peanuts25 gm
  • Saltto taste
Fried Beans

Method

Boil water and put green beans in boiling water for a couple of minutes. Remove from boiling water and immediately put in cold water. 

Heat two tablespoons of SUFI Olive Oil in a pan. Add onions, dried red chillies and garlic. Saute until onions are soft. Add green beans. Saute. Pour the soya sauce and honey. Cover and cook for a few minutes. Uncover and cook on high heat to reduce any liquid left. Add peanuts. Give a quick mix. Taste and season as required. 

Serve hot.
