Falooda

Let’s get cool in this hot weather with this special falooda. Gather the ingredients, and make some falooda for your loved ones for dinner tonight.

Recipe:
 
Ingredients

  • 1 ltr Vanilla icecream or Kulfa
  • 3 tbsp cornflour
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tin pineapple
  • 1 packet strawberry jelly
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • Ice water, in a deep dowl
  • Almonds and pistachios, crushed for garnish

 
Method

Mix the cornflour and half cup water and cook over low heat until transparent. Cool for a couple of minutes, then press through a sieve with large holes into ice cold water. Falooda noodles will be formed. Put the noodles in the refrigerator while you prepare other ingredients.

Prepare jelly according to directions. Cool. When it is thoroughly set, cut into squares and put in refrigerator.

Mix the condensed milk and milk and cook on low heat until the liquid is slightly thick. Cool and refrigerate.

Take 4 tall glasses. Place 2 tbsp of ice cream, 2 tbsp of pineapples, 3-4 jelly cubes. Top with 2 tbsp icecream. Put some falooda noodles on top with 1 jelly square. Pour some of the sweetened milk and garnish with pistachios and almonds. Enjoy chilled.

Variations

You can add some chickoo for an added taste.
